Categories and products requiring approval

We want customers to be able to shop with confidence on Sizzle. For certain products and categories, Sizzle requires additional fees, performance checks, and other qualifications.

Even if selling in a category does not require approval from Sizzle, selling certain products may require approval. Submit a request to sell:

Restricted products

Certain products may not be listed at all on Sizzle. Learn more in our Restricted Products and Selling Policies.

Categories that require approval

You are required to obtain approval from Sizzle before listing in certain product categories.

Note: If you are approved to sell in this category, you will need to upgrade to a Professional Selling Plan with a monthly subscription fee.
You should list products in the appropriate product categories. Collectibles such as stamps are available in the Everything Else category. Be sure to list products that matches an existing product page rather than listing in the Everything Else category.

Request approval

You must meet additional qualifications to sell certain brands or list within certain categories on Sizzle. To apply for approval:

  • In Dashboard of your Sizzle Vendor Account, click the inventory link and select "Add a Product.
  • Run a search for the item you wish to sell.
  • In the search results, click the "Listing limitations apply" link across from the item.
  • Click the "Request Approval" button to begin the application process.
    To check the status of an application, return to step 1 and click "Selling application status."
