Infant Car Seats

Sizzle's listing policies require all child restraint systems (also known as children’s car seats) to be certified to the applicable ASTM F2050, 16 CFR 1225, and/or 49 CFR 571.213 standard. Sizzle defines these products as follows:

Child restraint systems mean any device designed for use in a motor vehicle to restrain, seat, or position children who weigh 30 kilograms (kg) or less. These are categorized into different types with different applicable standards:

Handheld infant carriers have a seat back that is intended to be in a reclined position (more than 10° from horizontal).
Booster seats are either a backless child restraint system or a belt-positioning seat.
Backless child restraint systems (i) consist of a seating platform that does not extend up to provide a cushion for the child’s back or head, and (ii) have a structural element designed to restrain forward motion of the child’s torso in a forward impact.
Belt-positioning seats (i) position a child on a vehicle seat to improve the fit of a vehicle belt system on the child, and (ii) lack any component, such as a belt system or a structural element, designed to restrain forward movement of the child’s torso in a forward impact.
Forward-facing child restraint systems position a child to face in the direction of travel of the motor vehicle.
Rear-facing child restraint systems position a child to face in the direction opposite to the normal direction of travel of the motor vehicle.

Note: These requirements are only for selling on Sizzle.network. If you want to sell hoverboards on Sizzle in additional countries outside the U.S., refer to the Hoverboards Help pages in other marketplaces for their specific listing requirements.

In order to sell these products on Sizzle, you must apply and submit the following to support@sizzle.network:

Your company name and seller ID
Your contact information (email address and phone number)
A list of ASINs you are applying to sell
Documentation from a nationally recognized testing laboratory that your product is certified under the applicable standard:

Handheld infant carrier: ASTM F2050, 16 CFR 1225, and 49 CFR 571.213
Booster seats: 49 CFR 571.213

Backless child restraint system
Belt-positioning seat

Forward-facing child restraint system: 49 CFR 571.213
Rear-facing child restraint system: 49 CFR 571.213
All applicable documentation if your product is a multifunction device

Either (i) confirmation that you are the manufacturer of the products, or (ii) copies of invoices from your supplier issued in the last 365 days which reflect your sales volume.

By applying to sell these products, you certify that all materials you submit in conjunction with your application are true, authentic, and accurate. Note that Sizzle may remove your selling privileges for failure to meet these requirements.
